To manage everything using your mobile phone is getting more and more common. In this respect, thanks to our application, the area of intercoms is, not falling behind. Our application enables communicating with a visitor outside your front door wherever in the world you are.
Challenges
The task was to design an application that would be able to receive a phone call wherever in the world. Using Wi-Fi or GSM. The application works in the background but it does not have a large battery consumption. Moreover, it was necessary to solve smooth streaming and video and audio security. The integration of all 2N/Axis intercoms and answering units was not an easy task. The task included the design of an intuitive and easy-to-use application.
Solution
We developed a mobile application, the integration with existing PBX switchboards about sending push notifications. Furthermore, we designed a new web portal of My2N (www.my2n.com) for easy setting of accounts and devices with logging in using only a QR code.
Results
A mobile application for iOS and Android with the optimization for the tablet version was created. Users round the world praise its robustness and reliability. We are the only ones at telco exhibitions to demonstrate functional applications and not just demos or videos.
